The outgoing President and CEO of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India said the constraints regarding mass market had been due to the JV and now the decks have been cleared for that. With such an expansion spree, he added, the company aims to secure the top spot in the motorcycles sector in India in another ten years. Honda is getting its own flag flying after the split of the JV with Hero Group which lasted for more than 26 years. The country’s two wheeler market has the top most number from Hero Honda in 100 cc segment.

100 cc Bikes From Honda In India
Tuesday, March 22, 2011, 13:00[IST] The formal split between Honda and Hero Group from the Hero Honda Motors has envisaged the Japanese company to go ahead with its own strategies. Now the time has come for it to launch its 100 cc bikes to be made in India. With huge investment slated for this the bikes may be rolled down some time next year.
