The expected has at last happened with the German car maker Audi launching its Q5 2.0 TDI Quattro luxury SUV in India. The car will be ready for delivery in April and the cost is Rs3905000 and the company is confident of securing a sizable market and leadership status for this vehicle in the growing luxury market in India. Audi has refined its Q5 series with enhanced efficiency and dynamic execution backed by the refreshed engine and other features, said the company’s Head for India. The car is set to run on the powerful engine of 2.0 TFSI q petrol and 3.0 TDI q diesel. The recent addition of 2.0 TDI q is to supplied as CKD. Audi had a good stint in 2010 by selling 3003 units with the record breaking 81%. The Head further said the company is overwhelmed with the encouragement to step into the finesse of progress, sophistication in the segment. He assured that the company is committed to deliver the best in the coming days too by introducing path-breaking and award winning models soon. In another move the company is on the verge of increasing the dealer networks too. The models from Audi include Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A8, Audi Q5, Audi Q7 and Audi TT, and the sports version Audi R8 along with the recent launch of Audi R8 Spyder.
